The Spa Pantry offers massage therapists, bodyworkers, estheticians, cosmetologists, nail technicians, and spas the opportunity to learn about diverse natural ingredients that can be used to create unique themes, products, treatments and applications. Throughout the weekend we will explore: essential oils, natural ingredients such as herbs, butters and unscented bases, vegetable oils and much more. Part I is specifically designed to address natural approaches to and blending for: cleansers, toners, moisturizers, exfoliation, massage and/or skin oils. Both days will include hands on blending and experiential treatment work.
*Please note: This course focuses on learning about ingredients to create treatments or products. This class does not teach application techniques. It is assumed that individuals already have massage/bodywork or esthetics training along with some spa application training. Individuals interested in learning more about base ingredients to design and create products are welcome and encouraged too!

This 2-day class is designed for LMT’s who would like to expand their expertise, making themselves more marketable in today’s competitive environment as a massage therapist. The therapist will learn techniques in stone massage utilizing hot basalt stones and cold marble stones. History of stone massage, indications and contraindications of stone massage, and safety guidelines will be discussed. The therapist will have adequate hands-on practice time and should feel comfortable performing a stone massage routine upon completion of this class.
It is recommended that you purchase the Starter Spa Set (CST35) prior to attending the class.
